John Brodie, who is gaining popularity, is a photographer, writer and artist.
He was born in San Francisco, California.
For nearly 10 years, Brodie has lived in 5 different countries publishing words and film photographs with magazines and other publications. His focus mainly resides in fine art photographs and written material within the inner-reachings of travel and surfing’s subculture.
In 2018, Brodie authored, designed and published a personal photo journal derived from 9 days in Mexico City.
In 2019, Brodie released 'Hooroo' ,his second linen hardcover book, printed in Berkeley, California.
In 2020 , a second edition of 'Hooroo' a journal of West Australia was published by The Golden Rays, a UK based art and book shop.
The second edition sold out instantly, leading to two group shows and two solo gallery shows in 2020 & 2021 (US, Japan & UK) featuring the photographs from the book.
